IT support · New Jersey

The number you call when it stops working.

Matano IT Solutions provides IT support to small New Jersey businesses. We work remotely from East Windsor and come on site across Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth and Somerset counties. Support is one flat price per person per month, every request is tracked however it arrives, and you get a reply the same business day.

What support means here

Somebody who already knows your setup.

The difference between support that works and support that does not is usually whether the person answering has seen your systems before. Ours set them up.

  • A help desk anyone in the office can reachBy call, chat, text or email, and it is the same small team each time rather than a tier you escalate through.
  • A tracked request and a reply the same business dayEvery request is recorded, whichever way it arrives, and none of them sits unanswered while somebody decides whose it is.
  • Patching and monitoring that happen without being askedUpdates applied, disks and backups watched, and the thing that was about to break handled before it does.
  • Microsoft 365 run properlyAccounts, licenses, multi-factor authentication enforced, and a leaver's access actually removed on the day they leave.
  • Backup that has been restored fromA backup nobody has tested is a hope. We test.
  • On site when it needs handsRemote first because it is faster, and in the car when a switch, a cable or a person needs somebody in the room. Visits are billed rather than included, at a rate agreed with you before we come out.

Where we are

Remote across New Jersey, on site around Mercer County.

We are in East Windsor. Almost all of the work is remote, which is why a firm in Bergen County gets the same response as one ten minutes away. When a visit is the right answer, the drive is Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth and Somerset.

No IT person at all

Everything works until it does not, and then it is whoever is free and a search engine. We become the department.

Somebody who inherited it

Good with computers, now owns the problem on top of their real job. We take the tools, the monitoring and the after-hours part.

A provider already, and a doubt

You want an independent reading of what you have. We coordinate with them rather than replace them, unless you ask us to.

What it costs

One flat price per person, quoted in writing.

It is $95 to $165 per person per month, depending on which of the three plans you are on, with a five-person minimum. A firm of one to four has Solo Care at $125 per person, with no minimum; a managed plan starts at $475 a month. Every quote follows a 15-minute review. The rest of the shape: month to month with thirty days notice, no ticket budgets, and projects quoted flat before the work starts. The full pricing shape is on the managed IT page.

How managed IT works here

Questions

What people ask before they call.

How fast do you respond?

Every request gets a tracked record and a reply the same business day. Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. After-hours support is available and can be discussed.

Do you come to our office, or is it all remote?

Remote first, because it is faster for most things: somebody is looking at the problem in minutes rather than hours. When a job needs hands, a switch, a cable run, a machine that will not boot, we come out. A visit is billed rather than included in the monthly price, at a rate agreed with you before we come out rather than published here, and outside New Jersey it is quoted per visit. We are in East Windsor, and the on-site area is Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth and Somerset counties.

What size of business is this for?

Solo Care covers a firm of one to four. A managed plan starts at five people, and from there it scales with the headcount rather than with a tier. If you are large enough to want a tiered help desk and a contracted severity target, ask: both are things we will quote rather than reasons to look elsewhere, and if a bigger provider really is the better answer we will say so on the first call.

Do we have to leave our current IT provider?

No. Plenty of this work sits beside an existing provider: a security baseline, a backup that actually restores, an independent reading of what you have. If you do want to move everything across, we coordinate the handover rather than making you do it.

Is there a contract?

Month to month, with thirty days notice. An annual term is available if you would rather have one invoice, and it is your choice rather than ours.

Can we see something before we talk to anybody?

Yes. Put your domain into the check above and you get a reading of your email authentication, your website and how you show up, in about fifteen seconds. No account, no card, and the report is yours to keep whether or not you ever call us.
